Job Title: Project Manager – Salesforce Implementation & O&M


We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee our Salesforce Implementation and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) project. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing end-to-end Salesforce implementations, ensuring successful delivery of business objectives, and managing ongoing support and optimization post-deployment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and external vendors, to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce Implementation Management:
    • Lead and manage all aspects of the Salesforce implementation project, including planning, execution, and delivery.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
    • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Coordinate and manage internal and external resources (developers, consultants, business analysts) to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
    • Oversee requirement gathering, design, configuration, and testing phases of the implementation.
    • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring resolution within scope, time, and budget.
    • Ensure quality assurance processes are followed, and the system meets user expectations and business needs.
  • O&M Project Management:
    • Oversee and manage the ongoing operations and maintenance of the Salesforce platform post-implementation.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for ongoing support, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and system enhancements.
    • Monitor system performance, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with business teams to prioritize O&M tasks and improvements based on business requirements and user feedback.
    • Continuously improve processes for support, maintenance, and service delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as the key communication liaison between the business and technical teams.
    • Provide regular project status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
    • Facilitate meetings, presentations, and documentation to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Change Management & Training:
    • Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of Salesforce by users.
    • Coordinate training programs for end-users and internal teams on Salesforce features and best practices.
  • Budget & Resource Management:
    • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report financial status regularly.
    • Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring that the right skill sets are available for successful implementation and ongoing maintenance.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Recommend and drive enhancements to Salesforce functionality based on evolving business needs.
    • Support the development and implementation of a strategy for optimizing the Salesforce platform over time.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field.
    • PMP, Agile, or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Salesforce projects, including implementation and O&M.
    • Proven track record of successfully leading Salesforce implementations (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce products).
    • Experience with both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce development, administration, and customization.
    • Experience in stakeholder management, including coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Skills:
    • Strong project management skills, with a solid understanding of project lifecycle, tools, and processes.
    • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce best practices, data models, and integrations.
    • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Salesforce integrations, and third-party apps.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce certification processes and governance standards.
  • Prior experience in leading or managing support and maintenance teams.
  • Experience with other cloud technologies or CRM systems.
